There wasn't a hot tub, so I wasn't all that interested. The indoor pool was open to a limited number of guests, which was nice to see during the COVID pandemic. I didn't really take advantage of any of the amenities at the hotel. My room (#201) was clean and comfortable enough. My check-in process went fairly smoothly. I was on a solo road trip for a few days in September 2020 and spent a Friday night at this Holiday Inn Express in Plymouth. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I did not go to the indoor pool, but I could see it and it looked clean. She was behind a plexiglass divider and put the food in a styrofoam container. I wasn’t allowed to serve myself because of covid precautions. The breakfast was good and the attendant was nice and gave ample portions of whatever foods I asked for. It heated just fine, but every time it cycled off, the fan made a squeaky noise which made it a little hard to fall asleep. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the heater. The beds were very comfortable with four pillows on each bed. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. There were a few stains on the carpet in my room but everything else was very clean and adequately stocked. The funeral wasn’t going to be until 1:00pm the next day so I requested a late checkout since I had no where to hang out in the meantime. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave me an even lower rate. When I checked in, I asked for the bereavement rate because I was in town for a funeral. Every member of the staff was friendly and polite.
